This presentation explores all the housing options available including whether to ‘age in place’, that is stay with your current living arrangements, perhaps with some modifications and additional in-home support.

Other options include renting or moving into a strata titled community, a residential park or retirement village, to name a few. The session will also cover some of the costs, benefits and fees associated with these options.

The Seniors Housing Advisory Centre (SHAC) is a free, independent information and advice service covering the full range of housing options for seniors in WA. The SHAC does not directly offer housing, or provide financial and legal advice, but can be an invaluable source of information for seniors and their families.

Cost $3.00. Book online. Pay at the door, due to the implications of COVID-19, City of Joondalup Libraries request that all attendees pay with either EFTPOS or exact money.
