Circle of Friends Community Choir
Local women’s choir spanning a range of musical styles and celebrating its 10th year. The group believes that: “Music is one of life’s most important survival tools. It nourishes us, it gives us hope, helps us heal, and gives us the strength to keep going even in the toughest times.”
Q&A and Networking Session
Passion, Purpose and Challenges Q&A with Girrawheen Koondoola Senior Citizens Club, Joondalup Men’s Shed; and Northern Suburbs Social Group- The Gathering; followed by a group networking activity and morning tea.
Turn your hand to bowling, an optional break activity (limited spaces) with members of the Wanneroo Sports and Social Club.

Learn the principles of Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) to engage members and develop your group. Peter believes that communities need to build from ‘the inside out’, and for people to invest themselves, ideas, assets, capabilities and resources in the process.
The Seniors Leadership Program is a partnership between the Cities of Joondalup, Stirling and Wanneroo; and generously supported by the Department of Communities Age-friendly and Dementia-friendly Communities Grants Program.
