Join maritime author Chris Frame for a journey to the past and explore the early steam powered ocean liners that plied the North Atlantic. Follow the story of the famous Cunard Line - which celebrates its 180th Anniversary in July 2020 - when it established the first ever regularly scheduled steamship service across the Atlantic.

See what it was like to sail aboard an early steamer, where there were chickens and cows carried aboard for fresh produce. Learn about the fierce north-Atlantic rivalry and see how the great Edwardian liners were used in peace and war! This interesting and image-packed lecture can't be missed!

Cost $3.00. Book online.

Please note, the presentation will run for approximately one hour, followed by refreshments.
