Parenting Workshop - The Art of Taming Tantrums
End Time: 11.30 am
Cnr Marmion Avenue and Banks Avenue,
Map and Directions
It’s not unusual for children to have tantrums. A tantrum is an external way that little people show when they are angry, frustrated, upset or when they feel out of control. Whilst tantrums are common, supporting kids when they lash out can be challenging and frustrating as parents/caregivers don’t always know how to respond.
Taming Tantrums is a workshop delivered by Rachel Tomlinson, psychologist and author of “Teaching Kids to be Kind”. Rachel will share strategies and tips from her experience working with children and families in parenting support programs, play therapy and education settings.
Cost $6.00. Book and pay online.
Please note, the presentation will run for approximately one hour, followed by refreshments.
