Stand Up Paddleboarding and Movies (Grand Cinemas Joondalup) (BYO, P, W, D)

For 11 - 18 years of age.

Enjoy your morning out on the Mindarie seas on top of a stand up paddle board with SUP Perth and an afternoon with your feet up at the movies.

*Times/movies can be subject to change last minute usually due to the Cinema's discretion. Every effort will be made to let participants and their caregivers know of any changes to this however please note that this is not always within the City's control due to time constraints on the day.

Bookings close two days prior to the activity date.


Waivers/Forms: 

  • SUPP Indemnity Sign on Waiver form - All participants must ensure they complete and sign a copy of this waiver form to be given to the Senior Youth Worker on the day of event.

Registration and what to bring

Step 1 – BEFORE COMPLETING THE FORM BELOW: Ensure the participant is within the age range specified above prior to following the payment process. You will not be refunded if you incorrectly book for the wrong age.

Step 2 – Make sure the participant has completed the Youth Services Membership Form before completing the form below. Note: Only one membership form per young person is needed.

Step 3 – After registering, you will receive a confirmation email that contains information for what to bring on the day including:

  • Building Entry Requirements - When attending on the day you MUST arrive at the back of the community centre via the ramp to ensure we can correctly account for mandatory COVID contact tracing requirements as requested by WA Government and the Department of Health.
  • Your ticket - can be physically printed or displayed on a smart phone on arrival.
  • Any additional Waivers/Forms to complete - physical hard copies of these must be produced on arrival.

 

Legend

FYI: Young people will have freedom to choose their own activities and the amount of time they spend at the activity/event. They will only be supervised whilst participating in the activity/event.
BYO: Bring your own meals/snacks/money for extras.
M: Meal provided – Please bring snacks/money for extras.
P: Physical/Outdoor Activity – Please bring hat, water bottle, socks and enclosed shoes. Wear appropriate clothing for activities and weather conditions.
W: Water Activity – Please bring swimming gear, hat, towel and enclosed shoes.
D: Supplier Disclaimer/Waiver Form required to participate


Cancellations
A program will only be cancelled if there are insufficient enrolments received one day prior to the event or due to factors beyond the City’s control. In the event of cancellations relating to weather, safety or unforeseen circumstances, fees may not be refundable.

There will be no refunds issued for non-attendance unless the City is advised two full working days prior to the activity date along with presentation of a medical certificate. Please note: refunds may take up to four weeks to be processed. No other credits can be given.

Please keep in mind that activities may be subject to change due to the availability of suppliers, venues and COVID social distancing restrictions. Every effort will be made to inform participants and caregivers if changes were to occur.
