Volunteers are motivated and engaged when they understand where their role fits within the vision, mission and values of your community group, club or organisation.

In this workshop, delivered by Louise Giles from Volunteering WA, you will discover cost effective ways of how to advertise and market volunteer positions.

This will include how to deliver the right message to recruit and retain volunteers, and explore various ways of rewarding and recognising your volunteers.

The workshop will demonstrate why your community group, club or organisation is a unique place to volunteer and foster a sense of purpose and belonging.

Louise Giles’ role as Manager Training and Development, Volunteering WA, is to design, deliver and implement training and development programs and resources for volunteer managers. Louise also coordinates volunteer manager meetings, networks and committees to share ideas, increase the skills and knowledge, and to create and develop a stronger volunteering sector.
