A program brought to you by the Joondalup Libraries' Be Digital initiative
Are you 50+ and looking for work? If you lack confidence when looking for and applying for work online the City of Joondalup Libraries’ Be Employed courses may be just what you need.
If you would like to know more about how to use Seek and other job search websites, including searching for jobs and setting up a profile, how to attach and upload documents and how to set up a suitable email account, then sign up today. Running over three consecutive weeks, the following sessions will be on Monday 11th and Monday 18th May.
These three sessions will be followed by a once-off workshop on Thursday 28th May, at Joondalup Library from 2.00pm - 4.00pm or 5.00pm - 7.00pm on how to write your job application, focussing on how to address selection criteria but also providing information on writing a great cover letter and resume. More information will be provided at your Be Employed session.
Other computer courses are also available – look for information on Begin, Be Independent and Be Social.
For further information visit the Be Digital. Explore the digital world page on the City’s website, or contact the Libraries on 9400 4751.
No Charge, and all technology is provided.
