Have you ever wondered what is the difference between an ocean liner and a cruise ship? Do you want to know how the liners evolved from a method of transportation into today’s modern floating resorts? How big was the Titanic compared to today’s cruise ships?

Join Chris Frame for a journey through the Evolution of the Passenger Ship and explore the changing shape of ships, including the race for size and speed on the North Atlantic, how liners became cruise ships, the 50s boom and the impact of the Jet Aircraft on ships.

This lecture showcases the birth of modern day cruising and looks at the legacy that these great ships left in today’s modern cruise industry.
